Hi! Welcome to The Creative Engineer. I am your host, Brandon, and you might be curious what I have going on here.
This site serves multiple purposes:
- Celebrating Enginartists: Engineers that pursue art, or Artists that work in a medium that requires highly technical skills
- Exploring DIY art techniques that are accessible to anyone, with most materials available from Home Centers, not Art Stores
- Advocating for traditionally “creative” students to pursing engineering as a profession and to encourage engineers to let their creative side shine
- Showcasing some of my own art, furniture, and DIY projects that bridge this gap and to encourage people to get their hands dirty on their own projects
